Oscar served his country in the U.S. Army, worked as an architectural engineer, and retired from Walmart. He was an amazing father who single-handedly raised four children, even in his crippling condition; was an incredible artist who brought life to still images; and was an inviting, enthusiastic man who brought joy to all he met. He is dearly missed by all.
Oscar is survived by sons: Eric Grant, Ian Grant both of Calif., Gibby Grant of Texas, Yves Grant, and Dio Grant both of Arizona; daughters: Pixie Grant, Lisa Grant both of Calif., Misha Smith and Pasha Westbrook both of Arizona; brother Sonny Boy Grant; sisters: Claudette Walker and Dorothy; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Delvin "Big Daddy" Grant and Barbara Jean Williams.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Saint Rita's Catholic Church in Show Low.
