Henry John George Klipp was born in the town of Westfield, Sauk County, Wisconsin on the 27th day of November, 1870. In infancy he was received into the covenant of God in Zion's Lutheran Church through Holy Baptism, Rev. G. Kessler being the pastor. After having been duly instructed in the word of God he renewed his baptismal vow through the act of confirmation in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ableman, Wisconsin.

On March 14, 1899 he was united in Holy matrimony with Marie Klitzke. This union was blessed with three sons, their names are as follows: Arthur, Herbert and Ewald. After his marriage he moved with his wife to the farm one and one-half miles northeast of Loganville where he remained until his death.

Two years ago on the 8th day of June, 1931; his wife preceded him in death. He lived together with his youngest son, Ewald. For the last 23 years he was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Loganville.

Mr. Klipp seemed to be enjoying quite good health, however on Tuesday evening, May 26 at six thirty o'clock he was taken with a stroke of paralysis. He soon sank into a coma from which he did not again recover. He passed out of this life on Tuesday evening, May 26th at nine thirty o'clock.

He leaves to mourn his passing his three sons, Arthur, Herbert and Ewald all of the town of Westfield, one grandson, one sister Mrs. Mary Grosskrueger of Westfield and many other relatives and friends. He attained the age of 65 years, 5 months and 29 days.
