Son of Lt Col Gordon Hutchins of the American Revolution. (Tombstone says Col.) Gordon Hutchins (1733-1815) commanded a company at Bunker Hill under Col. John Stark; was lieutenant-colonel at White Plains under Col. Nahum Baldwin. He also served in the Provincial Congress of New Hampshire. He was born in Harvard, Mass. ; died in Concord, N. H.
