Married Anna Marie Grieser, April 26,1917. Father to Mary JoAnne, died at the age of 3, Mabel Villiard, Alice Stutzman, Ellen Cook, Ruth Wegman, Anna Schmidt, David, Paul and James. He was a devout member of Lake Region Mennonite Church.
David is my maternal grandfather, although I was adopted at 11 months he always treated me as one of his own. I remember grandpa as being a hard worker and could do anything, he had a sense of humor and could always make his grandkids smile. He was strict but fair and respected by all. I have so many childhood memories and miss him so very much. I am sorry my kids never had the chance to know him like I did. Watch over Sheldon grandpa he would have adored you.
