James Burdette was born on January 8, 1919 in Kentucky, the son of Henry Burdette and Minnie ( -- ) Burdette.
He was married to Mary Lou Trice ( -2002).
James was a US Army veteran and served during World War II in both Europe and Japan. He had also worked at Tyson Foods and was a retired carpenter. Living in Shelbyville, Shelby County, Tennessee, he was 93 years old when he passed away on September 21, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his widow Mary Lou Trice Burdette and by his daughter Dorothy Louise Green, while survivors included six children, a daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law and sixteen grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on September 26th at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel, and burial with full Military Honors was in Willow Mount Cemetery, Shelbyville.
