Calling hours for Glendina Yarnelli Cochran, 78, of Newark, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2013.

Glendina died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 5, 2013. She was born in Newark on May 17, 1934 to the late Charles and Minnie Roberta (Shipley) Yarnelli.

For many years, Glendina worked together with her husband as the owner and operator of Dagwood's Restaurant which was located on East Main St., Newark for 62 years. She enjoyed all of the patrons that visited her over this time, and cherished the many friendships that were formed.

Glendina was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, caring grandmother and a trusted friend. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Rolland Dean Cochran, of the home; her sons, Ronald Cochran and Philip Cochran; her daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbi (David) Koonts and Melissa (Kevin) Cochran Miller, all of Newark; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Cochran, Brett J. Miller, Travis S. Cochran (Crystal Koski), Willow Cochran, Aleeya Cochran, great-grandchildren, Rayn Messina, Jamison Miller, and D'onte Gibson; great-great-grandchild, Rylen Gartner; her sisters and brothers-in-law- Florence Wilson of Newark, Della (Ron) Garey of Cleburn Texas, and Sandra (George) Wilson of Newark; and her very special canine companion, Remington.

In addition to her parents, Glendina was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Ann) Yarnelli, Louis (Wathalean) Yarnelli, and Ralph (Louise) Yarnelli; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary (Charles) Lyons, Magdeline (George) Arter, Francis (William) Vogelmeier, Helen (Paul) Arter, Mabel (William) Harris, and her brother-in-law, Henry Wilson.
