Opal Atchley, 98, a 5 year resident of Chattanooga, died January 19 2004 in a local Hospital. Previously, she lived in Charleston SC for several years where she and her husband were owners of Service Finance Office. Mrs. Atchley was a member of James Island Baptist Church and Hannah Sunday School Class of Charleston (SC). She was preceeded in death by her husband James Edgar Atchley; son, Ted Atchley (Sr); and grandson, Daniel Atchley.
Survivors include her daughter, Inez Parson of Chattanooga; daughter-in-law, Lorrayne Atchely of Charleston, SC; nine great grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Iva Blevins of Knowville; several nices and nephews.
