BEEBER, Eileen a resident of Friendship Village, and for many years prior to that of Fayette Court, Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, after battling cancer for almost three years. Born on November 11, 1930 in Asbury Park, NJ, to Yetta and Harry Zahler, Eileen moved to Dayton as a young girl and never left. At age 19 she married William Beeber, who became well-known in the community for building a successful pharmacy business, Beeber Pharmacy, and RNA, Incorporated, a national pharmacutical computer technology company. He pre-deceased her in 1992. Her brother Morton S. Zahler also pre-deceased her. When she was 20, she gave birth to her first son, Gary Scott, a resident of New York City and Sag Harbor, NY. Her second son, Arthur, died when he was 17. Family and friends, their well being and happiness, were of the utmost importance to Eileen Beeber. She was beautiful and was known as a gentle, kind and sweet woman who had a great sense of style and loved fashion. Eileen is survived by her son, Gary and daughter-in-law, Betsy Nichol. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. graveside at Riverview Cemetery 1809 W. Schantz Avenue. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH, 45420. BRADFORD - CONNELLY & GLICKLER FUNERAL HOME handling arrangements.
