WILL: Alexander Anderson of Augusta Co, VA names to dau Polly Crosby $500 immediately from sale of 5 shares of stock of New Shenandoah Co, land in Port Republic Rockingham Co and if not sufficient then to the sale of 7 1/2 acres in Augusta Co which I own adj. Philip Hefner and William Moffett or the sale of my perishable property with the surplus to be equally divided between my wife Esther and the whole of my children then living or their heirs; my wife Esther should raise, clothe, board and educate my four children, the fruits of our marriage and to have full use of my plantation and my two negro men Simon and George until my youngest son arrives at 21 and thereafter she to live with her sons William & George on said plantation or have one third part during her natural life at her own election. To my daus. Elizabeth and Martha Ann $1000 to be paid by sons William & George in 6 equal installments when George arrives at 21 or if death of either, then to be made to survivors.
