Mrs. Lula Christian died on Monday, June 19, 1944 . She was a native of Nashville and a member of Meridian Street Christian Church. Her first husband, J.W. Oliphant died 35 years ago, and her second husband, J.W. Christian, died about 15 years ago.
Mrs. Christian is survived by daughters Mrs. J. Warren Carney and Mrs. J. Paul Wilson, Sr.; son John W. Oliphant; sister Mrs. Nannie Evans, all of Nashville; and brothers B.F. Harris of Nashville and Albert Harris of Glendale, CA.
