Jane, the wife of John Shear, residing just over the line in Scioto
County, died on last Monday and was buried at St. John's Cemetery,
Wednesday. The deceased was about 73 years and was the daughter of the
late Noah Dever.
The 1880 census states that Jane's father was born in Virginia and her
mother in New Hampshire.
