Shirley Colbath Briers, 80, of Wallingford, died Thursday March 8, 2012 at Bradley Hopital in Southington. She was the beloved wife of the late John V. Briers Sr.
She was born in Lowell, MA, July 22, 1931, a daughter of the late Ernest and Florence Ohnenus Colbath.
She is survived by her daughter Pauline Cellano; her three sons, Steven, James, and John V. Briers, Jr.; her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Gwendolyn Dearth and Bertha Baldwin of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her brothers, Charles Colbath and Robert Colbath.
