Mrs. William Woodward, 87, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday in her home at 314 Arbor Ave. She had been ill several years and serious ill 1 1/2 years.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Earle Little Funeral Home, with the Rev. William O. Moulton, D.D., officiating. Burial will be in Carleton Cemetery.
Mrs. Woodward, the former Jennie Stuttard, was born Sept. 28, 1872, at Almont, the daughter of James and Margaret Secord Stuttard. She was married to William W. Woodward Sept. 19, 1894, at Imlay City. They moved to Monroe from Carleton in 1911. Mrs. Woodward was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and its Woman's Society of Christian Service.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Donald of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Horace Hunt of Spenard, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. Charles Hazelton of Hollywood, Calif.; 4 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. A son, Lloyd, preceded her in death.
