ROSE Marjorie June Marjorie June Rose of the Point/Shoreland Community passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Campus at the age of 80. She had owned Rose's Beauty Shop on Galena and Chase Streets for many years until her family began to grow at which time she was a full time mom; years later Margie had worked at Capt N Carry Out. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 606 Ladies Auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Margie loved gardening, traveling and her indoor plants. Her whimsical side carried her to collecting anything to do with frogs. Margie was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Ada (Culp) Moorehead; husband, Glen (2004); grandson, Joshua Stanford (2012), and sister, Jeannine Kuntz. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dale (Lori) Rose, Denise Sroufe and Channon (Tom) Rufenacht; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Chuck Moorehead, Jim (Joyce) Moorehead, and sister, Marilyn (Jack) Horner. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for Margie will begin in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, (419.726.1583) on Monday, October 29, 2012, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, with Pastors Chris and Nate Mosley officiating.
