She was born on March 11, 1910, in the town of Charlestown, daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Reiser) Kolbe.
She married Arnold N. Weller on June 14, 1934, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilton. She worked for the Commonwealth Bank in Chilton and later worked for the Calumet Memorial Hospital in the Obstetric Dept. for 23 years, until retirement in 1974.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilton, the Christian Mothers, the Mission Society, the Catholic Knights, the Daughters of Isabella, the Chilton Senior Citizens, the Calumet Hospital Auxiliary and the Calumet Co. Homemakers.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Karl Mathes of Chilton; rose Marie and Russ Knoth of Menomonee Falls, six sons and four daughters-in-law, Fr. Andre Weller Cap., of Panama; Robert and Mary Weller of Rothschild; Clarence and Barbara Weller of Sherwood; Arthur Weller, of Chilton; Michael and Peggy Weller of Appleton; Francis and Julia Weller of Sebastopol, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Lorraine Geiser of Chilton; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Elmer and Helen Kolbe, Clem and Grace Kolbe, Leo and Betty Kolbe, all of Chilton; Mrs. Ray Weller of Manitowoc, and a special friend, Gwen Ketter of Chilton. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 8, 1979, also by a brother, Hugo Kolbe.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilton. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
