Mrs. John Woelfel passed away Wednesday morning at St. Agnes hospital, Fond du Lac, following an operation. Mrs. Woelfel had been taken to the hospital Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Woelfel, nee Catherine Bushman, was born at School Hill Dec. 12, 1870,(sic) where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to John Woelfel in 1891, and with her husband she located on a farm in the town of Charlestown where they resided until 1900, when they purchased the arm a mile northwest of this city where they have since resided.

Survivors are; her husband; one daughter, Mrs. F. J. Mulvany, Milwaukee; six sons, Joseph of this city, Erwin and John at home, Alex, New Holstein, William and Leo, of Milwaukee; 17 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning from St. Mary’s church of which she was a devout member. Rev. H. E. Hunck will officiate. Burial will be made in St. Mary’s cemetery.
Mrs. Woelfel was a member of the Christian Mothers society.
