Mrs. Raymond C. Woelfel, 65 of 31 Lincoln Street, Chilton, died Sunday at Theda Clark Memoral Hospital, Neenah, following a lengthy illness.

The former Alexia Schuler was born Jan. 3, 1909 in the Town of Eaton (Manitowoc County), a daughter, of the late Joseph and Caroline Hecker Schuler. She was married to Mr. Woelfel on June 10, 1931 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton, and its Christian Mothers Society.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. David (Elizabeth) Ludwig. R. 3. Chilton, Mrs. Ray (Mildred) Narkowski, Oconto, and Mrs. Dale (Mary) Depies, R. 2, Chilton; four sons, Robert, Park Falls, Richard, Elgin. Ill., Joseph, R. 1, Hilbert and Paul, Chilton; 23 grandchildren. Four brothers, Alphonse and Anton, both of R. 1, Valders, Ray of Mishicot and Theodore, St. Nazianz, and four sisters, Mrs. Hildegard Salm, Cleveland. Mrs. Lorena Meyer, St. Nazianz, Mrs. Rose Bogenschuetz, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Marie Gries. R. 1, Valders, also survive. A brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church, the Rev. Leonard Woelfel, a brother-in-law and pastor of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills, celebrant of the requiem Mass. Brief family rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
