Anton P. Schuler, 73, of Valders, died Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 21,
at Holy Family medical Center Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church,
Clark Mills. Msgr. Alfred Schneider and Rev. john Conrad will officiate
and burial will bein (sic) the church cemetery.
Mr. Schuler was born May 13, 1912, at St. Nazianz, son of the late
Joseph and Caroline Hecker Schuler. He attended St. Gregory School, St.
Nazianz, and farmed in the Town of Cato. He married Amanda Schneider,
Feb. 12, 1934, at Chilton. Mr. Schuler was a past member of Clarks Mills
Sportsmens Club and St. Mary Holy Name Society
Survivors are his wife; a son, Kenneth, Valders; a daughter, Mrs. Edmund (Jean) Schmitt, Cleveland; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Alphonse, Valders and Theodore, Rural Kiel; and three sisters, Hildegarde Salm, Cleveland, Lorena Woelfel, St. Nazianz, and Rose Bogenschuetz, Sheboygan.
He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, 5 p.m. to
9 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at
the church. A parish prayer service will be 8 p.m. Thursday.
