Reverend Leonard Frederick Paul Stockmeier of Tucson, AZ, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather and loyal friend, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 15, 2013.

He was born on May 11, 1925, in Sheboygan, WI, to Frederick and Zilla (Rodewald) Stockmeier. Leonard attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI, and Mission House (now Lakeland) College and Seminary, receiving his Bachelor of Divinity degree in 1950. He married Alice Paschen on June 17, 1950, in Kaukauna, WI. He was called to his first congregation in 1950 at the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Campbellsport, WI. He then pastored at the Reformed Church (USA) in Hosmer, SD. In 1957, he attended Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI, and was called in 1958 to the Colton (SD) Christian Reformed Church (CRC). Other pastorates in the CRC included Sheboygan, WI, Phoenix, AZ, Corsica, SD, and Prairie City, IA. He retired from the pastorate to Tucson in 1987. After retiring, he worked for ten years at The National Bank of Arizona.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gail (Stockmeier) and Harvey Jansen and a son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Grazyna (Rajkowska).

He is also survived by grandchildren, Aaron and Mikala Jansen, Mark and Katrina Jansen, Alex and Katie Jansen, Michael Jansen, Scott and Alison (Stockmeier) Poling, Thomas Rajkowski, Cameron and Joel Stockmeier and beloved great- grandchildren, Kaila, Dakota and Abigail Poling, Amara, Payton, and Levi Jansen.

He is survived by a sister, a sister-in-law and eight nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters, brother, three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

The Funeral and Burial were held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Newton, WI. A Memorial Service will be held at Rincon Mountain Presbyterian Church, 8445 East Tanque Verde Road, Tucson on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
