Bill who was a volunteer for the Special Olympics for over 20 years. Bill retired as a brakeman for B&O Railroad after 42-1/2 years of service, was a member of the ACME Lodge #554, the Druids, the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel I.(Yarnelli) Harris, daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Robert Faught of Newark, Trudie and Mike Grummer of Newark, Pamela and Jim Wills of Newark, Janice L. Sellars and her fiancee, Denver Mounts of Circleville; son William J Harris lll of Myrtle, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; step mother Evelyn Harris of Newark, sisters and brother-in -law, Carolyn and William Thompson of Newark, Helen Bickle of Heath,Peggy Miller of Newark, and Nancy and Russ McGinnis of Florida; and several niecies and nephews.
