Linda M. Boyle, 63 of Dakota City, NE passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at her home after a short illness.
Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jackson, NE.
Rev. Paul Albenesius will officiate. Visitation with the family present will be from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Church. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in South Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.
Linda was born Sept. 7, 1949 in Sioux City, she was the daughter of Francis and Helen (Nelson) Persinger. Linda grew up in South Sioux City and graduated from South Sioux High School in 1968. She managed and worked for several restaurants in South Sioux City over the years.
Linda married Bernard "Butch" Boyle Aug. 16, 1985 in Ponca, NE.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Red Hat Club. Linda enjoyed shopping, reading, cooking and decorating.
Survivors include her husband Bernard "Butch" Boyle of Dakota City, NE; her children: Timothy Rasmussen and his wife Jan of South Sioux City, John Rasmussen of Springfield, NE, Jennifer Rasmussen of Dakota City, NE, Robin Olson of South Sioux City, NE; 2 step sons: Rodney Boyle and his wife Dawn of Homer, NE, Bradley Boyle and his wife Kristina of Sioux City, brothers and sisters: Robert Persinger of South Sioux City, Donald Persinger and his wife Jody of El Margo do, NM, Charles Persinger and his wife Shirley of Sioux City, Michael Persinger of Ponca, NE, Richard Persinger of Papillion, NE, Gene Persinger and his wife Patty of Sioux City, Darlene Saunders of South Sioux City, Mary Cakebread and her husband Walt of South Sioux City, Nancy Cakebread and her husband Orville of South Sioux City; 14 grandchildren: Nikolas, Tyler, Zackery, Alesha and Dannielle Rasmussen, Jessy Paulsen, Jade and Gracie Olson, Brooke, Madison, Amber, Dalton, Kelsey and Dylan Boyle.
