He was preceded in death by his Parents: Urcle and Sally Kirby Covington; Mother and Father-in-law: Dedie and Aaron Terry; Step Mothers: Aunice Covington and Lettie Covington; Sons: Johnnie and Ronnie Covington; Sister: Mary Ellen Covington; and Sons-in-law: Ronnie McGill and Rocky Webb.
He is survived by his Wife of 58 years: Roxie Covington; Children: Roxie and Gordon Keith, Bill and Dixie Covington, Andrea and David Doolin, Sharon and Andy Bell, Steve and Rhonda Covington; Teresa Webb, and Mark and Crystal Covington; Sisters: Gladys, Janice, Pat, Louise, Shirley, Debbie, and Martha; and Brothers: Danny and Jackie.
Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Thursday January 31, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Morton and Andy Bell officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:30 P.M. Friday February 1, 2013 at the funeral home to proceed to Louisville Memorial Cemetery for a 1:00 P.M. graveside service. The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
