KULPMONT - Lois McFall, 84, formerly of Kulpmont, passed away Sunday evening, Aug. 9, 2009, at the Mountain View Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

Born in Ashland on Aug. 3, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Enterline Welker.

She attended the former Butler Township High School, Fountain Springs, and was a devoted homemaker and housewife.

A lover of nature, she spent much of her time in her garden and feeding the wild animals. Of particular interest were the birds and the ground hog that called her yard home.

She was a member of the Lutheran faith, belonging to the former St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Lavelle, as a child.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl, wife of Andrew Sincavage of Elysburg; two sisters, Mrs. Diane Moll of Hatboro, and Mrs. Faye Zimmerman of Helfenstein; a brother, Robert Welker, husband of Ada, of Gowen City; a grandson, Kevin Sincavage, husband of Lisa, of Bear Gap; great-grandchildren, Kayla Sincavage and Kevin Sincavage Jr., of Bear Gap; and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 57 years, Earl McFall in December 1999; a son Rodney in January 1986; a son Roger in December 2007; and a granddaughter, Kelly Ann Sincavage in November 1999; and brothers, Evert, James and Richard Welker.
