husband of Mildred W. Crumpler Kuchta∼KUCHTA, Robert J.Age 88 of Nashville, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. He was a Navigator on a B-17 during WWII, he coached the Madison Little Rams and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Kuchta was a member of the Jackson Park Church of Christ for over 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kuchta and Elsie and Russell Pettibone, infant son, Russell Kuchta and infant grandson, Paul Kennedy. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mildred Kuchta; daughter, Peggy (Joe) Kennedy; sons Robert (Bonnie) Kuchta and Danny (Cindy) Kuchta; brothers, Jerry Pettibone and Bill Pettibone; grandchildren, Ryan Kennedy, Todd Kennedy Keri Fields, Jennifer Kuchta, Katie Lasater, Andrew Kuchta and Garrett Kuchta. 4 great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Kuchta's family will receive friends from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, December 28 at Spring Hill Funeral home. A Cebration of Life Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday , December 29 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral with Pastor Jim Olive officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Grandchildren will serve as honorary Pallbearers. The family would like to say a special a "Thank You" to Guardian Hospice for the care they have gave during these times. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
