Services for Joeaner Jimison, 101, Indianapolis, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in New Garfield Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Calling will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Lavenia's Home for Funerals and from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Jimison, a native of Perry County, Ark., died Thursday at her home. She was the widow of Marshall Jimison, Sr. She was the oldest member of New Garfield Baptist Church, where she had been president of the usher board and member of the missionary chorus, Sunday Bible class, Baptist Training Union and Missionary Society Circle.
Survivors - daughter, Wilma W. Jimison; sons, Willard, the Rev. Walter Jimison; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
