Murrayville, Feb. 13 - Funeral services for Vincent Joseph Connolly, who died Monday at Quincy, where he was a student at Quincy College, were held Thursday morning at St. Bartholomew's Catholic church with high requiem mass, Rev. E.A. Burtle celebrant. Rev. Formaz was deacon, Rev. C.S. Bell was sub-deacon, Thomas J. Connolly master of cemermonies and Leonard Moloney as censer bearer. Interment was made in St. Bartholomew's cemetery, east of Murrayville.
Pallbearers were Joseph Brogdan, Harry Dobson, Ralph White, William Hobbs, Anthony McCabe, and Leonard Begnel. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Ethel Mandeville and Mae Tracy.
The decendent was born July 3, 1910, west of Murrayville, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James V. Connolly. Surviving are his parents, two brothers, Thomas J. and Martin F. Connolly; three sisters, Alma, Teresa, and Regina Connolly.
