Born in New York State probably in either Oneida or Onondaga County (Syracuse). Marriage license application made with Lorenzo Dow Bixby in Dubuque City, Iowa on 2 Mar 1859. Lorenzo and Annie were married by J.S. Dennis, pastor of the local Universalist Church but the exact date was not given. Lorenzo was a cattle dealer and the couple moved around quite a bit. Their only child Frank Dow Bixby was born Aug 1864 in Chicago. Frank married Carrie Cudney in Chicago on 1 May 1886. They has one son, Dow Frank Bixby who died in 1976.
Anna and Lorenzo apparently divorced because she remarried Ora Kinney about 1886 and Lorenzo Bixby did not die until 1889. Anna died in Berea, Ohio of kidney disease. Her body was brought to Chicago and buried 11 Apr 1907 with her parents and sister Lizzie in the Farnsworth Family plot.
