Hugo Pankratz an old pioneer of this vicinity passed away, January 14, at Auburn, Indiana, where he had gone to spend the winter with his daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Hodge. The body was brought to Marlette to the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Masten.
Funeral was held at the Catholic Church in Clifford Monday morning, Rev. Fr. Burke, of near North Branch, officiated. Burial in St. Agatha's cemetery,
