LaVelle Green, 79, passed away May 1, 2008. Born April 4, 1929 to Parley and May Yates Green of Lake Point. Married Judy Bates December 26, 1983, she preceded him death. Life time resident of Grantsville, graduated from Grantsville High School.

Served in the U.S. Army. Enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding horses and Dutch oven cook outs. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survived by Sister; Elsie Palmer Waldorf of Maryland, Brothers; Donald (Carolyn), Merl (Myrna) of Grantsville, Step son Shawn Bunnell and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 1-2 p.m. at Tate Mortuary. Graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at the Lake Point Cemetery.
