Family lore is that five brothers came to Henry and Bates Counties from TN. The five were Malcom, Robert, John, Alexander and Thomas, who were of Scotch-Irish descent. Thomas and his family came to the area abt 1850.

Thomas received Bounty land grants of 80 acres in 1852 and 80 acres in 1857 for his military service. He entered all the land in Mingo, Bates Co. MO.Thomas Gragg was the son of Robert Gregg Sr. and Lydia Harrison.[1],[2], [3] & [6]
Thomas married Nancy E. Crow on 17 Jun 1783, in Lincoln, Kentucky.[2], [4], [5] & [6]
