85 years, died at 1:15 a.m. today in Gracedale, Nazareth
RD.1 after a long illness.
Mrs. Fell, widow of Seth Fell, was a familiar figure on North Fourth Street in Easton for many years until she was taken to the county home at Gracedale on Nov. 10, 1952. She
formerly lived at 126 N. 4th St. She took daily walks with the aid of a cane as recently as 1951. For about 70 years, she was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, Easton, where her husband at one time served as caretaker. A retired railroad brakeman, he died in 1942.
Born Oct. 20, 1857 in New York City, Mrs. Fell was the daughter of the late Jacob and Eva Rufe Richter. Her family moved to Easton when she was 10. She held domestic jobs until she was 84 to support her husband, who was unable to work the last 12 years of his life.
Mrs. Fell is survived by a brother, Daniel Richter of Easton, and a number of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her six children preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton.
