Gillespie 28 February, 1888 in Hillsdale, Hillsdale Co., MI. The couple divorced prior to the 1900 USC. No known issue. Alvada worked as a cook in a hotel. She died of acute congestion of the liver and heart failure due to a valvular lesion.
