Cora was the daughter of William P. and Amanda (Pike) Campbell. She married Francis Carl Williams in 1923 and they had nine children:(son), Arlie Francis, John C., Hoyt Windale, Benjamin Preston, Lucy Rebecca, Amanda DeLette, (son) and Alice Faye.

LIBERTY Mrs. Cora Campbell Williams, 95, of Williams Dairy Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Clapps Nursing Center, Pleasant Garden.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at Bethany United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Larry Scott and the Rev. Wayne Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Chatham County, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late William P. and Amanda Pike Campbell. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, F.C. Williams; daughter, Lucy W. Kivett; and sons, Ben and Arlie Williams.
She is survived by her daughters, DeLette and husband, L.K. Routh of Asheboro, Faye and husband, Archie Saunders; son, Hoyt and wife, Faynell Williams of Staley; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001, at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty and other times, at the home of Hoyt Williams, 6458 Sandy Creek Road, Staley.
