My dear aunt, Marie M. (Mitchell)Lavine died at the age of 78. She was the daughter of the late Loretta (Winding) Mitchell and Louis (Mutcheroni) Mitchell. She lived in Worcester, MA before moving to Rhode Island where she lived for many years. From there, she lived in Brookline, Massachusetts where she lived until her death. Her husband, Robert L. Lavine, predeceased her, as well as her three brothers, William, John and George, who died when he was 11 months old.
Her sister Loretta Nelsina (Mitchell, Waskevich) Groleau, survives her. She also leaves a daughter Eileen Ruth in New York, a daughter Kathy Sue in St. Croix, USVI, a granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Aunt Marie is sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a wonderful person.Here she is at my Mom's 80th birthday party.
It will be a grande day when we are all reunited in Paradise.
