Augustus Woodwill Ford, 76 died December 18, 1930. Mr. Ford was stricken by a heart attack while on his way home last Thursday evening, and died as medical aid was being sought. He was a native of Virginia, coming west as a young man. He enlisted in the regular army and five years of his service was as a member of the Seventh Cavalry, in the command of General Custer. After leaving the service, Mr. Ford settled at Helena in 1881, where he lived continuously until his death.
Surviving area brother, Everett F. Ford, and two nephews, Albert and Charles of Lincoln, Nebraska, and two nieces, Mrs. Ira Tuck of Helena and Mrs. Carter Rubottom of Grey Cliff, Montana.
