Obituary...Vidor-Thursday, 23 Feb 1978: Funeral for Hazel E. Cappen, 63, of Vidor will be at 11 a.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Williamson Ward with burial in Williamson Cemetery under direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Cappen died at 6 a.m Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital after an illness.
Survivors include a son, Alfred Van Ray Cappen of Orange; two daughters, Nancy Thompson and Patti Kirk, both of Vidor; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
