beloved wife of Dr. W. LeRoy Boswell, passed away Tuesday morning, February 12, 2013. She was born in Marvell, AR, on January 8, 1925. Betty was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Lexington, KY. At the church, she was a member of the Belle Bennett Circle and helped deliver communion to shut-ins. She was a lover of gardening and was a past-president of the Town and Country Garden Club. She also loved playing bridge, bowling and tennis. In addition to her husband of 63 years, she leaves two daughters and their families; Patricia and Fred Mullins of Antioch, TN, Barbara and Oscar Wiygul of Fairfax, VA; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Lee Boswell. Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday, February 15 at Milward-Southland. Services will be 10:30am Saturday, February 16 at the Lexington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 301 E Main St # 100, Louisville, KY 40202. Or the First United Methodist Church, 200 W High St, Lexington, KY 40507.
