POPLAR RIDGE RESIDENT DIES VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA

Wilson Abiel Mosher, 75, well known resident of Poplar Ridge, died Saturday at the City Hospital. Pneumonia was the cause of death. The body was taken by Undertaker F P. Hemans to his funeral home at 17 Sherman Street and removed by him today to the Mosher home in Poplar Ridge.

Mr. Mosher was born in the Town of Venice, the son of Charles Mosher and Jane Purdy Wilson Mosher. He married Adah M Nichols on November 23, 1875. Three years ago they celebrated the golden anniversary of their wedding.

Besides his widow he is survived by one son, J. Howard Mosher of Mecklenburg; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jane S. Mosher of Mecklenburg; one sister, Phoebe of Venice Center; a brother, Frank Mosher of Venice Center, a grandson, Carl Mosher of Mecklenburg.

Funeral cervices will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home in Poplar Ridge. Rev. Herbert Gordon, pastor of the Ledyard M. E. Church, will officiate.
Interment will he in King Ferry Cemetery.

Funeral of Wilson Mosher.

Funeral services for Wilson Abiel Mosher of Poplar Ridge, who died Saturday evening at the City Hospital, were held at the late home in Poplar Ridge yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The officiating clergyman was Rev. Herbert Gordon, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Ledyard. The services were very largely attended and there were many beautiful floral tributes.

The bearers were Frank Mosher, Clarence Baker, David Beebee, Charles Andrews, Arthur Wood and Fred L. Clark. Interment was in King Ferry.
