Joanne Wester Inglet, longtime resident of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington on June 14, 2011 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Joanne was 76. She was born on August 26, 1934 in Brownwood, Texas where she spent most of her childhood. She attended Early, Texas schools. At 17, she married Bob Inglet, a local resident of Bangs, Texas and became his first wife. She and Bob had a daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Inglet and they moved to Arlington when Debbie was 12. They resided there many years. Some years later, Joanne and Bob divorced, but remained on good terms. Joanne never remarried but moved to Grand Prairie, Texas where she resided until her death. While married, she worked outside her home and began her career as an operator with the Southwestern States Telephone Company in Brownwood. In Arlington, she worked at Shop Rite Foods as a cashier for 13 years and finished her career as a parts inspector working an additional 13 years for VacHyd; a local aerospace company in Grand Prairie, Texas. After her retirement, she spent many hours working on her computer and made numerous Internet friends. She loved gardening and photography. Predeceased by her parents, Harvey Elwood Wester and Rosa Nell Savage, she is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Inglet and an ex sister-in-law, Vada Reynolds. Vada's daughter, Betty Ellis and family, Vada's son, Bob Reynolds and family, and Raymond Brucker and his daughters are included. Also remaining are cousins, Phil Brooks of West Covina, California and his family along with Phil's three brothers and their families. She left behind many more friends and family along with precious memories.

Joanne was cremated by the Neptune Society per her wishes. A special memorial service was held on August 13, 2001 at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church located at 4300 CR 557, Brownwood, Texas at 11:00 a.m. , officiated by Rick Justice.
