YARDLEY, Pa. - Louis Raics, 76, of Yardley died on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at his residence, where he had lived for 36 years.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, Mr. Raics and his wife came to the United States in 1957 at the time of the communist revolution. He was very devoted to his adopted country.
Mr. Raics was employed as an electrical technician by Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratories.
He was interested in computers and in producing photos of his grandchildren. He was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan and shared an interest in motorcycles with his sons.
Louis is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Sharon Raics of Ringoes, N.J., Louis and Jennifer Raics of Washington Crossing, Pa., Robert and Susan Raics of Rushland, Pa.; and by seven grandchildren, Jason, James, Katie, Jay, Samantha, Robert and Helen, and a great-granddaughter, Ava.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Jan. 25) at the Hungarian Reformed Church, 180 Home Ave., Trenton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the church or to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Riverside Memorial Chapels, 1310 Prospect St., Ewing, N.J.
