Born in Simcoe, Ontario, the youngest child of William Henry Paulin, a tinsmith, and Elizabeth Kerr. Vera came first to Treherne and then Holland, Manitoba, with her parents by 1910 and Holland remained her beloved home.She married Alexander John Jamieson on October 8, 1924. After 1 year in Vancouver, the couple returned to Holland where they raised their 3 children.Vera was one of the great cooks of this or any age. She was immensely capable and was a very loving mother and grandmother. She lived in a small village but not in a small world.
