Carson Tipp Jennings was a son of William Henry Jennings and Martha D. Rice. He married Beulah Estelle Green in 1935.

Tipp Jennings worked at the Green Coal Mine in Coshocton County, Linton Township for many years. He was an expert trapper and was well known as a great pool player in Coshocton, Ohio. He had a one man coal mine located under his farm. In later years he worked directing traffic during road repairs and construction. Uncle Tipp and Aunt Bea did not have children. They were loved by all.
