She was the widow of J.D. Pollard. She was probably one of the oldest pioneers of Nevada, having come to Reno almost 40 years ago, where she and her husband conducted the well-known Pollard House for many years. She was buried in Dayton yesterday.
Deceased leaves surviving her, two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Bonham of Dayton, and Mrs. J.L. (Sarah) Shivley of Wyoming, and three sons, J.D. and Charles A. of Reno, and Frank C. Pollard of Yreka, California.
