Immigrated to America (Ellis Island) as Chaie Sore Langman on Sept. 7, 1913 with her daughter Mollie (Sheine Malke) on the vessel "The Grosser Kurfuerst" from Bremen. Mother of Frank Longman, Hannah (Anna Lena) Langman Winker, Joseph Langman, Louis Longman, Jacob (Jake) Langman, Tillie Langman Siegel, and Mollie Langman Alpert. Sister-in-law of Myer Long (formerly Langman) of Boston. Hebrew name was Chaya Sarah bat Ephraim. Tombstone inscription is "beloved mother."
