Allen M. Wagner

Allen M. Wagner, of 701 W. 24th St., Hazleton, died early Monday morning at the Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he had been a guest.

Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late ALbert J. and Emma Jane (Gicking) Wagner.

He was a member of Diamond United Methodist Church, Hazleton.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a salesman at Wagner Brothers Hardware Store, which was founded by hsi father Albert.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a sister, Pearl Goldsworthy.

Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Geraldine Baker; daughters, Mrs. Edward (Beverly) McKeown, West Hazleton, Mrs. John P. (Jayne) Cohan, Hazleton and Mrs. Joseph (Bonnie) Kadelak, Sugarloaf; brother, Carl Wagner, Sun City, Ariz.; sisters, Mildred Kepping, Browns Grove, Drums and Emily Zeisloft, Sun City, Ariz.; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home, Inc., 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton, with Brigadier General Henry Baker, brother-in-law, officiating.

Interment will follow in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, St. Johns.

Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
