George Haas, 73 years old, died on Monday afternoon at his residence, Fifth and Airy streets. He was a native of Germany and was born February 16, 1838.
Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gustina Haas; a son and six daughters:

Mrs. Sam Groom
Mrs. Edw. Schiermeier
Mrs. Carl Eichler
Mrs. George Thomas
Miss Mary Haas
He also leaves 16 grandchildren.
The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
