Mrs. Margaret Eichler, 74, of 320 East A Street, died at 9:30 o'clock this morning following an extended illness. She was the widow of Karl Eichler, a former employee of the Liese Lumber Company.
The deceased was born in Hedesbach, Heidelberg, Germany on August 21, 1874 and was the daughter of the late George and Margareta Haas, née Eisehnhauer, both natives of Germany. She came to America with her parents when she was seven years of age. She married Mr. Eichler in Belleville on February 2, 1898. He died July 5, 1940.
Surviving are two children: Carl L Eichler of 616 Wabash Avenue and Anna, wife of Raymond Dovell of Riverside, Cal.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Irma Franz of Riverside; two great-grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Eva Thoma of 820 Union Avenue and Mrs. Elizabeth Groom of Anaheim, Cal.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church and the church's Circle A.
