Anton Braun, 90, of Whitelaw, died Saturday morning, Sept. 8, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic church, Whitelaw. The Rev. Richard Heymen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Braun was born Nov. 9, 1893 at Brillion, son of the late Anton and Mary Klabatch Braun. He married Louise Lemberger, June 8, 1915 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. They farmed in the Town of Cato until 1960 when they retired. His wife preceded him in death June 28, 1979.

Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law: Herbert of route 1, Whitelaw, Al and Janet of Whitelaw, Norbert and Gail of Route 1, Whitelaw, Gordon and Alice of Route 1, Whitelaw and Laura Braun of Manitowoc; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Gertrude and Wilbert Hastreiter of Cato, Janet McDaniel of Belle Glade, Fla., Vivian and William Rychtarik of Lisle, Ill., and Georgianna and roman Manlick of Route 2, Reedsville; a brother, John of Manitowoc; 37 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sons, Anton and Elmer, a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Sunday afternoon and Monday until the time of services. There will be a rosary service 8 o’clock this Sunday evening by Father Heymen.
