Mrs. Florence Baldwin Goodin, of Campbellsville, died at the Goodin Rest Home in Columbia Sunday, April 12th, at 4:20 p.m. after a long illness. She was 77 years of age. Funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock Tuesday, April 14 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. Ben Spencer and Rev. Walter Wood with burial in Brookside Cemetery. Mrs. Goodin was a member of the Bowman Street Church of God. She united in marriage forty-seven years ago to Jim Bottoms, who preceded her in death in 1925. In July, 1928, she united in marriage to Welby Goodin, and he preceded her in death November 12, 1949. Surviving are one step-son and three step-daughters, Glenn Goodin, Route 1, Campbellsville; Mrs. Victor Benningfield, Route 1, City; Mrs. Elijah Phillips, and Mrs. Earl McCubbin, both of Campbellsville. Also 12 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Edd Merritt, Lee Eastridge, Lanus Muncie, Harold Baldwin, Elwin Martin and Herbert Scott.
