Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Callahan Cemetery for Mrs. Cordelia Cox, 58, who died shortly after midnight October 14 at her home near Mannsville. Rev. Fountain Cox conducted the services and burial was in the Callahan Cemetery.
She was married in early life to William Cox, who survives. She was a native of Taylor County and was the daughter of the late William Baldwin and Racheal Stayton Baldwin. She was a member of the Christian church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Saupton Pointer, and Mrs. H. Dennison, both of this county; three sons: Walter Cox, Louisville; Porter and Latta Cox, of Taylor County; two brothers: E. D. Baldwin and Ellis M. Baldwin, of this county; two sisters: Mrs. Joe Hughes and Mrs. Welby Goodin, also of Taylor County.
